If Ubisoft wanted diversity, they should've just made the female character an Ainu woman and make the male character a Japanese man. That diversity and cultural difference would've been organic, unique, and genuinely fun to explore.

When a social movement around green hair representation happens at first nobody cares but then they start adding green hair characters everywhere even if it breaks lore even if green hair dye doesn't exist in an ancient fantasy setting and they don't want to do the work to add lore to make it make sense then they call you greenist that hates green haired people if you complain. All I can see now is every NPC in AC: Shadows saying, “It was the only black man we have ever seen in our lifetime, he did it”. dude you should see the decline of grey knights 20 years of nerfs, more then any other faction, custodes have had it amazingly good, for 7 years, wearas my grey knights were onley good for 2 years out of 20. in 8th they had one wound models, with 1 damage heavy wepons, and 2 wound termies, the onley good unit was paladins, other editions they just kept taking rules away, at least 9th restored most of that glory, then they took 90% of thier rules and refused to give them upscailed primaris models or rules support they became a high skill army instead of a great one, compared to when space marines and custodes released thier 3rd behind them when they should be at the same level as custodes, in power. but custodians are still good just not perfect, you dont need fights first everywhere, or -1 damage, well they could have given it to one or two units, with a strat but not most infantry. t7 is pretty rediculous as well. i like custodian rules over my grey knights at the moment. movement is great but lacks any sort of punch. grey knights should not be eldar or blood angels.

its because they were relying on thier rules rather then skill. grey knights have this problem as well, but very very few play them and it was the top players that decided to make a bad faction work so they decided to focus on secondaries. id trade teleport asault for some great combat rules in a heartbeat.
